This Tuesday(7^th of August) at Jeollanam-do office building, with persons from Jeollanam-do, Sinan-gun, ND KOSEP, TOPSUN, made an MOU for solar farm offshore of Hai-island and Sini-island Jeollanam-do.

The sea of Hai-island between Sini-island is perfect place for offshore solar plant because its ‘J’ shape site with no wave.

Jeollanam-do and Sinan-gun will take part of administrative support of transmission and distribution net, and licensing of sharing surface. ND KOSEP will take part of joint development of energy, purchase of supply certification and whole business, we TOPSUN will take part of photovoltaic module for sea, system developing and installation. After this 100kW project success, we will make MW plant for 2^nd phase, and 100MW plant for 3^rd phase.

It will be of great value if we develop offshore PV plant system against its biggest problems which are typhoon(wave, wind) and salinity corrocion. It seem to be open the way export offshore PV system to abroad, of course domestic trade.
